Today there are over 60,000 unique caregivers in KnowledgeNET with access to their kids educational records!

This means that you could have the ability to logon to a very safe and secure site (approved by the Ministry of Education) to access details about your child.

The KnowledgeNET Parent Portal will allow you to be much more informed about where your child is at with their education, more importantly than just being informed is having this information as soon as it is allowed to be viewed by parents (and the kids).

This means that you know a lot sooner than the half yearly report if there is an issue that you can assist with, but once again more importantly you can be provided with appropriate and relevant next steps and resources that can assist you to help your child gain that next level.

Where the school is utilising the KnowledgeNET Learning Stories and e-Reflections you can see examples of your child’s work that you can comment on, along with teachers and other students if permitted too.

You will also have a window into the classroom to know what your child is working on, what homework they actually have (not what they are telling you, we are parents too!) and access to thousands of educationally web based interactive resources.
